Terms of Service.

In one paragraph

VentaLens connects to your Loyverse account read-only to show you analytics about your own business. We pull only the data we need for the features you use, we never store your customers' or staff's contact details (email, phone, address, PIN), we never write anything back to Loyverse, and we never mix your data with any other business's. You can disconnect at any time.

1. The service

VentaLens provides sales, menu, and accountability analytics on top of your Loyverse POS data. It is an insight tool, not a system of record. It does not modify your Loyverse data.

2. What data we access and store

• From Loyverse (read-only): receipts and line items, items/variants, categories, shifts, stock levels, stores, and employees.
• People data is minimised. For employees we ingest only id and display name — no role, no contact details. We do NOT ingest customer records at all; an opaque customer reference id may appear on a receipt, but customer names, visit counts, spend history, and all contact PII (email, phone, address, PIN) are discarded at the connection boundary and never written to our database, logs, or backups.
• Stored where: an encrypted database hosted in Singapore (Supabase, ap-southeast-1), isolated per-merchant — one business can never see another's data.
• Your access token is encrypted at rest and used only to read your data.
• We request the minimum Loyverse permissions needed for the features in your plan, and no write permissions.

3. How we use it

• Solely to produce analytics for your own business, shown only to you.
• We do not sell your data and do not use it to train shared/ML models.
• We use your data for anonymized, aggregated benchmarks only if you explicitly opt in. When you do, figures are pooled across merchants and shown only where at least five businesses are in the group (k-anonymity ≥ 5), so no individual merchant is ever identifiable. You can opt out at any time.
• Unmapped/unneeded fields are dropped before storage (purpose-bound).

4. Your controls

• Disconnect anytime from the Connect screen — we stop syncing immediately.
• Deletion: on request (or account closure) we delete your synced data within 30 days. Email [email protected] to request earlier deletion.
• Export: your analytical data can be exported from the product (Profile → Export my data).

5. Availability, liability, changes

• Provided "as is"; analytics may lag Loyverse and should not be the sole basis for financial or legal decisions.
• If this policy materially changes, you'll be asked to review and accept the new version before continuing. The consent record stores the version, your user id, and a timestamp.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, where SKANDAN PTE. LTD. is incorporated. Nothing here limits rights you may have under mandatory local consumer law.

6. Consent

Before connecting a store, you must explicitly acknowledge that (a) you are authorised to connect this Loyverse account, (b) you have read this summary, and (c) you accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The acknowledgment is recorded with your user id, timestamp, and policy version in our audit log.
